The University of Sussex is a public research university located in Falmer, East Sussex, England, it is mostly within the city boundaries of Brighton and Hove but spills into the Lewes District in its eastern fringe.
The University of Sussex is a leading research-intensive university near Brighton. We have both an international and local outlook, with staff and students from more than 100 countries and frequent engagement in community activities and services.
The University of Sussex has 16,820 students (2017-18 full-time equivalent figures), of which around a quarter are postgraduates. 76% of our student population are UK or EU students and 24% are overseas students.

Location
The University of Sussex is located in Brighton on the south coast of England. It is a popular beach resort and has great transport links to other popular costal destinations such as Bournemouth and Southampton as well as the capital London.
