Lancaster University is a collegiate public research university in Lancaster, Lancashire, England. The university was established by royal charter in 1964, one of several new universities created in the 1960s.

Lancaster University campus occupies a beautiful 560-acre parkland site and is proud to be one of only a handful of UK universities to have a collegiate system.

Location

Lancaster University lies approximately 3 miles south of the City of Lancaster and approximately 7 miles from the coastal town of Morecambe. The city is within 70 miles of Manchester’s International Airport and well served by road and public transport links.
